The Millside Restaurant, 1 Mill Lane – 01297 445999 2 AA Rosettes A popular, intimate restaurant serving an easy-going, predominantly Seafood & Fish based Restaurant, with Meat, Vegan & Vegetarian options featuring on a locally sourced menu. A short, pretty riverside walk into town.

Tom’s Lyme Regis, Marine Parade, 01297 81601 is a refined award winning restaurant dedicated to showcasing stunning seafood and great local produce with a selection of premium fish, vegetarian, and meat dishes. We will never compromise on quality or sustainability so our menus change with the seasons. We love to recreate classical dishes with a creative twist. Lal Qilla Indian Restaurant, 16 Broad Street – 01297 442505 A super popular restaurant serving tasty Asian cuisine. Bring your own bottle. We recommend that you book a table.

Oyster and Fish House, Cobb Road – 01297 446910 Run by celebrity chef, Mark Hix. Delicious, contemporary seafood – ‘easily the best spot on the South West coast to enjoy lobster and chips or a dozen oysters and a bottle of champagne whilst gazing out to sea with spectacular views over the bay.”

The Harbour Inn, 23 Marine Parade – 01297 442299 Modern bar/restaurant serving superb, locally sourced dishes, cooked to order in a relaxed, ambient setting. Eat inside or on the veranda or private beach area in summer. Telephone bookings recommended during the busy season.

The Volunteer Inn, 31 Broad street – 01297 442214 a traditional, family-run pub offering hearty meals and local ales in the town centre 300m walk from the Kersbrook.

Royal Standard, 25 Marine Parade 01297 442637 The beach side pub has been passed down within the same family since 1993 with a little refurbishing here and there but the traditional characteristics of the pub remain the same. In 2018, the daughter of the Landlord took over with her Greek husband (who is conveniently a trained chef), which is where the Greek influence on the menu comes from.

Robin Wylde 63a Silver Street, Lyme Regis DT7 3HR, open Wed- Sat, 07308 079427. Locally sourced set menu with option for drinks pairing. Whilst we cater for allergies, we need to know these in advance and we ask that you put dietary preferences aside. We have a sister restaurant and wine bar called Lilac also in Lyme Regis.

The Ridgeway, Smallridge, Axminster, Devon, EX13 7JJ, Kevin and Carole Baulch 01297 32171 Superb food and service. Excellent if Lyme is busy and you are wanting something quieter out in beautiful countryside about 15 mins drive from the Kersbrook.

River Cottage HQ, Musbury, Axminster 01297 631862 Run by famous celebrity chef, Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall. Cookery courses and special tasting days. Locally sourced, seasonal dishes to delight you. A 10 minute taxi ride from The Kersbrook.

Talbot Arms, Lyme Road, Uplyme, Lyme Regis DT7 3TF 01297 443136  A family friendly pub, so we pride ourselves on sensibly priced wholesome home cooked food. We have a pool table, dart board and watch many of the live matches on our big screen. Everybody is welcome. Lovely 45 minute walk up the river Lym past middle mill from the Kersbrook, excellent for a Sunday carvery lunch!


The Kiosk, middle of seafront by end of beach huts right on the beach. Deck chairs, ice creams, fab tasty food and great coffee!

Good Food Cafe Broad Street. An independent coffee house selling fantastic home made foods and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

The Black Dog Tea Rooms, Lyme Road, Uplyme. Tasty food in a friendly environment. A useful place to stop while on a circular walk past Middle Mill to Uplyme village/Talbot Arms pub.

Diamonds Tea Rooms, Cooks lane, Axminster, Devon EX13 5SQ tea shop based on a farm on the edge of Axminster with spectacular views across the Axe valley, 5 mins drive from Lyme. Specialising in fine foods, hand made local ice cream and quality fine tea’s and coffee.

Molly’s Ice Cream shop, seafront town/river end. What can we say – just fab!

Royal Standard – Excellent food in a traditional pub with open fire right by the harbour.

Pilot Boat Inn – Excellent pub food the opposite end of the sea front from the Cobb.

By the Bay – 01297 442668 – Informal dining, regular theme nights with superb views, located on the sea front.
